Mario Lemina has returned to Galatasaray five years after his loan spell with the club, joining on a permanent deal from Wolves.

Mario Lemina has completed a return to Galatasaray from Wolves in a reported £2million deal on a one-and-a-half-year contract.

Lemina, who made 28 appearances for Galatasaray during a loan spell in 2019-20, has made the move back to the Turkish Super Lig side, with the option to extend that deal for an extra year.

The 31-year-old has not featured for Wolves ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี since their 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League back in January after a fall-out with manager Vitor Pereira.

Lemina lost the Wolves captaincy in December after clashing with Jarrod Bowen following the 2-1 defeat to West Ham, before Pereira replaced Gary O’Neil as head coach.

Pereira said last month that the midfielder would not play until the transfer window had shut, with Lemina having initially refused to make himself available for selection.

On Wednesday, Galatasaray confirmed they had entered external negotiations with both Lemina and Wolves before announcing the deal later in the day.

Lemina made 28 appearances for Galatasaray during a loan spell in the 2019-20 season, when he was at Southampton, and told the club’s website, external: “Everyone knows I love this club. I’m very happy to be back at this great club.

“I will give everything for the team and the fans. I hope we can achieve all the success we can together in this great club.”
